The Griffin Wedding!

Where do we start with Melanie and Josh?! Well, for one, Melanie is my older sister! She has been through it all with me, and I have had the pleasure of watching her grow into the amazing woman she is today! Words cannot describe how proud I am of her and all her life accomplishments! She has a huge heart and truly wants the best for everyone around her. When she met Josh, we honestly were not sure if he knew what he was getting himself into! Melanie is such a strong, independent woman that would intimidate most men- but not Josh! His compassion and love for her was evident early on. He is such a patient person who always has a smile on his face. They have been through so much in their short time together and have shown that love will overcome any obstacle in its way!

Josh’s son Matthew is just smitten with Melanie! It is so heart warming to see them interact together. Matthew is an only child and was eager to welcome all of his new cousins into his life!

Melanie and Josh got married at the beautiful Winding Creek Farm and Wedding Barn in Hamptonville, North Carolina. It was a sunny but CHILLY day in May, but that didn’t stop anyone from having the time of their life! Melanie was such a beautiful bride, every detail from her dress to her shoes was absolutely perfect! And did we mention she had the CUTEST flower girl?! Okay, okay, we might be biased, but our princess Aelynn looked so perfect in the little white dress she had on!

It was an intimate wedding with all of their loved ones by their sides, followed by dancing, corn hole, marshmallow roasting, and of course, CAKE! We are so happy we were able to not only participate in the wedding, but that Melanie and Josh trusted us to handle their most precious photographs! We cannot wait to see what is in store for these two in the coming years- we are hoping babies are high on that list! So stay tuned for a beautiful maternity shoot in the future!
