Chris and Antoinette’s Engagement

All I can say is WOW! I don’t think we stopped laughing this entire session! It was full of surprises from the moment we got in the car until we arrived back home again.

On our way to Asheville we got so caught up in conversation that we completely missed our exit! Not only did we head the wrong direction, but it took us a good 20 minutes to stop chatting to even realize we were off track! It ended up being a blessing in disguise because we found the most beautiful location for our session right off the highway!

The NC Arboretum in Asheville is beautiful in any season. Our December engagement session was held on a brisk, chilly day, but their love for each other was enough to keep them warm! We strolled through the main gardens and through the amp theater searching for the perfect light to make these two glow as big as their personalities! We here at Stonebridge and Elm absolutely love family history and when Chris mentioned he brought a blanket his grandmother made him, I knew this shoot was going to be something to remember! The sentimental details will make the story behind each beautiful picture even greater for generations to come.

As the sun tucked itself behind the mountains we jumped back into the car and grabbed some Starbucks and hit the road! If that isn’t a perfect way to end an engagement session, I don’t know what is!

I just love how these two interact, it made capturing their bubbly personalities such an easy job for me! I am so excited for them to finally say “I Do” in October of 2017. Chris is a lucky man- not only is his bride-to-be super intelligent, but she’s a knockout! Way to go Chris!! We cannot wait to celebrate this next chapter in life with both of you!
